Recommended Basic EKG book???

Hello..thank you again...for taking time...im taking an ekg class, and i want to learn more by reading....our teacher mentioned the book "Rapid interpretation of EKG's" by Dubin, though he really did not tell us to buy one...can i please ask what you think about the book?...i believe i wouldnt learn as much just by being passive and listen to his discussions...so i want to read...any suggestions will, again, be surely appreaciated...

thanks a lot guys!

I liked it. Lots of great pictures, plus a website. Scroll down to see the illustrations that are in the actual book.

It's an exellent book. It's how I learned. He makes good analogies with great illustrations, and a bit of humor thrown in to keep it from being dry. It takes you through starting with the very basics.

I learned my EKG interpretaion with Dubins. It is really the "Dick and Jane" of EKG interpretation. I don't evem know if it still in print.

We used the EKG Workout book by Duff. It's very good and has lots of practice strips.

I saw that book after the fact, and I can agree that it is a great one. It still exists, at least I saw it in Barnes and Noble last year.

Another excellent title is "EKG Plain and Simple" by Karen Ellis. I love EKGs and hope to get a chance to use the skill eventually. Good luck!

Yeap...have that one, too! Between the two books, I learned them quite well!
