Question about CEs for renewal of license

Question about CEs for renewal of license


I have been looking online for CEs, everything says CME, I don't want to sound dumb, but CME and CEs, are these the same. I thought CME was for physicians.

CME is for physicians. Sometimes the courses also list nursing CE credits also if participation is allowed by nurses.

Your professional association should be a great resource for CE credits. As an AACN member, for example, I can complete as many CEs online as I'd like.

Medscape offers them for free online. Just register and they even keep track of what you've taken.
