I dont know, I just worked a minimum of 60 hours a week while attending Nursing school.

I won't be working while I'm in school. I have a mortgage, 3 pets, bills, etc. I plan on getting a roommate and taking out lots of $$ in loans.

It can be done. Research scholarships and grants. Talk to the financial aid office. If you go to a private school they should be able to make it affordable for you. State schools are another story, since the states are in such bad shape nowadays.

I don't know about Seattle or San Francisco, but in NYC raisinet, you don't need a car at all. In fact a car there is useless during the day for the most part. I am not sure how many of the nursing schools have dorms, but you could look into that. Your biggest obstacle is getting a place to live, and affording one in a not-so-bad area. Maybe you can look into a part-time job even with a full-time BSN program.
I am starting in October, and I am looking for a part time job right now. I am married, and my husband will be supporting us, but I could use the extra cash for my clothing addiction (lol). I haven't looked into loans yet because my GI Bill pays for school until my junior year, so I am putting off loans until then.

Like Mel D said, it can be done. Do you have any family in any of those areas you are looking into?

I dont know about where you live, but here in texas some hospitals will pay for your college if you sign a 1 yr contract to work with them after you graduate. You dont have to work until after you are out of school. Student loans dont have to be paid back until after you graduate also!
