Oh My.... - page 2

Has anyone seen the video on CNN? It is about waitresses' wearing skimpy nursing outfits. I don't care for it at all and I am no prude by any means. I work hard as a nurse and I feel it is making... Read More

I didn't see it but, if it had skimpy nursing uniforms it can't be all bad!

I always thought it was illegal to call yourself a nurse or a doctor. I could be wrong though, but I just thought saying your name is "Dr. Soandso" was against the law unless you really were a doctor. Like I wouldn't call myself Steph RN, because I am not. Or I wouldn't say I am a nurse, because again I am not. I could be wrong!
How about Dr. No, Dr. Who, Dr. Dre, Dr. John, Dr. Love...? :spin:

Wow, do I feel stupid now lol! I guess I just wasn't thinking.
I guess the law would be to impersonate a doctor then, not call yourself a doctor..

I agree that this happens with every profession though.

Anyone who has been in a hospital or watched "E.R." knows that nurses don't dress like strippers in real life.
Well, anyone watching "E.R." or "Grey's Anatomy" or "Scrubs" etc (which BTW I love "G.A." and "Scrubs" for the most part) might think that nurses are mindless robots and sleep with all the doctors.

On Grey's Anatomy, for the most part, the residents confine themselves to sleeping with other doctors...only one occasion was it a nurse. So, nurses win on that show at least. They come out looking better than the doctors...lol. (Not that they ever show many nurses...it's a surgeon's world there).
