Obtaining a agency nursing job

Hi, I am a nurse of 26 years and I have a nursing friend who is trying to get a job with a nursing agency. It is not easy to get a job as a nurse anymore. You have to prove yourself and if you are not good at testing you will have a hard time proving that you are a knowledgeable enough to work for the agency. Does anyone have any advise I can share with my friend to help her with obtaining an agency job? Thank you for any advise you can give us. She is a great person. Again thank you. nannynoonoo.

The agencies are generally looking for people that have CURRENT experience in the type of nursing that the particular agency has placement for. I'm not sure about the testing.

and YOU'RE experience is irrelevant... what kind of experience does your friend have? What kind of nursing has she done in the past?
