I worked at a senior center. One night I heard my named called-I answered yes thinking one of the staff or pts needed me-then went looking for who had called my name-all pts were sleeping and the other staff on floor said they did not call me. This happened a lot while I worked there-just my name nothing else. One of my childhood friends had a mom who was a resident there and died there. I just figured she was trying to contact me and say hello. When I told my friend and her sister what happened they were thrilled that their mom had searched me out.

I can't for the life of me think of the q word unless it is the ummm not so rushed word. And I am not from the south. Lol. We have had full urinals places upright on pts that are unable to move. Numerous call bell stories/rooms. But that's plain hair raising! Thanks for the well writen story.

The q word-opposite of loud, and the s word-opposite of fast. Never say those words, ever.

LOL! Now...when all hell breaks loose on this post, as is bound to happen after the "Q" word is uttered, we know who to blame!
