    I'm looking to maybe speak with someone who can inform me about what the nursing field is like. I'm a junior nursing student and love the field. No one in my family and none of my friends are nurses so I really don't know what I am in store for and I guess I am just looking for someone with experience to speak with...

    I would really suggest you check out the discussions (ALL 0f them) in the "nurses in transition" sector - there you will get both sides of an ongoing debate about whether or not nursing is worth it anymore. That discussion forum tells it like it is, hon, both good and bad so prepare yourself.

    Thanks for the advice, I will definitely check it out. I guess I'm just looking for someone to talk to about nursing instead of reading right down to the books. I figured a first hand experience opinion is best.
