New Grad Positions?

Hey, does anyone know of any hospitals that are welcoming new grads in Massachusetts?

They say 80% of jobs aren't posted to the public, so maybe some nurses out there that are working at hospitals that are hiring new grads can help!

Even if you're not in Massachusetts maybe you can help other new grads looking for positions in other states where new grads are having difficulty finding hospitals that will hire them.

South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA is supposed to be opening up new grad positions around July. I am not sure what units will be on the list, but they are one of the few hospitals in the area still actively hiring people. Massachusetts is a VERY tough place to get a job even for experienced RNs right now.

If there is any possibility that you could move elsewhere, you might have better luck as well.

Good luck!

Want a warmer climate?? Texas hires new grads with welcome arms. Competetive salaries with area hospitals, and a GREAT cost of living in north east texas. look for Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas
We would love to have you!! Economy holding for nurses at this time.

If you're willing to move there are tons of opportunities in California. I moved to Santa Monica from Seattle and I love it!!! Nice people, great weather and good money.

Hi Washedaway, I'm definitely interested in South Shore Hospital. Do you happen to work there yourself? Is it a good place to work?

Sadly moving as far as Texas, California is not an option for me at the moment. I have some unfinished business and have to stick around Massachusetts.

Okay lets fill this with posts.... since so many new grads need this!

What other hospitals are taking new grads?

I'm interested in Massachusetts hospitals but feel free to post if your hospital is taking new grads regardless of what state you're in!

Also a December grad in Idaho. Would love to hear of something open in Eastern Idaho (Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Rexburg, or somewhere in between).
