New grad lpn...still no jobs

New grad lpn...still no jobs


Okay, Ive been looking for at least 8 hours a day for a job for 3 months now...theres nothing. So, does anyone know of any places in the Akron, Ohio/Medina area that are hiring new grad lpns.

Have you looked at craigslist-I saw a few listings for LPN's in the Akron area. I also came across a website-juju.com. You can also check there. HTH!! Don't give up!!

Oh man, I am also looking with little luck so far...does anybody know if they're hiring new grads in the long island, queens, brooklyn areas? Please helpppppppppppp

Same here in Massachusetts. They all want experienced LPN. Anyone around worked in ambulatory care as lpn? What is it like? Will a new grad fit there? Thank you so much for your help!

Same here.. I am in texas and became an LVN in september, still no luck, everyone wants experience, still applying and looking.

This is a great website and they will send you job alerts daily. Don't give up, you ARE experienced if you have done clinicals! Send your resume anyway, make it a skills based resume. There are some jobs that say "new grads welcome" and there are soooo many in New York, I don't know how you aren't getting hired in NYC!!

go to sunharbormanor.com. i just got hired as a new grad there. it is in roslyn heights, ny.(long island, nassau county)

New in NY...nobody's hiring new grads...I literally got escorted out of an open house last monday cause they weren't seeing new grads...thanks for the advice though...I'll check out the websites.

mel P...I am on it...I am calling first thing tomorrow, that's exactly what I needed....places that are giving new RNs a chance....Thanks a million.

As someone who regularly sits on interview panels with my facility, no, clinicals do not count as experience. Sorry, most places feel this way as far as I know. But good luck to you guys in your job search.
