NELRP 2013 - Who else applied?

This is my first year applying for the NELRP but I have known about it for about 3 years, I just recently got a job at a facility they recognize. I was wondering if anyone here has applied before and is the process really as long as I have been reading on past threads? Oh, and do they tell you why you don't get it if you get denied? I'm just a little nervous because I need this help greatly! :nailbiting:

It was a credit check and national data base. No excluded party list. But it was removed. And it is under supporting documents where the birth certificate is.

I believe u r looking in right place. I'm not sure that everybody that got an epl and credit check got it or not... As far as timing I started really worrying over summer. It a very omg process. Made lot of friends chatting on other board. Helped with the worrying knowing there were others. Good luck guys!

Its good to know someone who has gotten the fund is willing to be here to answer questions for us who are trying to apply. So we should see changes around June or July? or did some see them earlier?

I am also an awardee from last year. I keep checking in now and then to see if I can add any perspective. I remember one nurse faculty member saying she got the letter of intent in May. Then it seemed to move on to NPs (June or July), then RNs (mainly August). The wait is far from over, so try not to worry too much. :)

Anyone ever have it where you go to "View your submitted application", and it opens another window, but there's nothing in it? I've noticed it happen last friday evening and I was just checking and it did it again.

Just curious. I know everything is speculation at this point but....WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????:nailbiting:

Probably too early to ask but anyone have any updates? Mine still says Under Review. Haven't seen any credit checks or anything. I applied last year and was in Tier III. I reapplied this year and my hosp remained in Tier III.

If any previous awardees are reading, what tier was your hospital?

Also tier 1. I don't know that they've been able to go below tier 1, especially with the changes to the allocation of funds. Keep your hopes up though and good luck!

Ok....Anyone heard anything? Maybe everything is running slower this year. I'm beginning to think I'm not getting it.

Did anyone not have the credit check until after may and still get the award last year?

I had a credit check in April but haven't heard anything since, my application still says Under Review, anyone else have news?
