Can you take some courses/ retake some courses in which you had lowest grades to up your GPA?

That's what I would suggest too. Try taking some easy courses that you can pull As in easily. I don't know if most schools operate like this, but I know at the school I graduated from if you retake a course and earn a better grade the second time around, only the better grade counts in your GPA. Good luck!

I would have a chat with the Dean of the school program you are trying to get into, and see what she/he would advise. You are certainly not the only person in that situation they have talked with. Perhaps that person would know of a different school offering the same kind of degree that might be interested, for example a private school somewhere.

Take any courses that will boost your GPA. Since your GPA is a collective you can sand bag some courses that will increase it. Art, Music, Crafts anything of that sort, an easy A. With a collective GPA its easy to do.

What about on-line? I'm doing an ADN to MSN option with University of Phoenix. So far, so good.

You could always make up for a low GPA with a high GRE or MAT score, I would think.
