Need a Nurses opinion on health

  1. Hello all,
First let me start off by saying I apologize in advance for posting about a personal health issue, I just at a stand still and figured a community for nurses would be the next best thing for helpful advice! I'm a nursing student so I'm not quite there yet. Anyways I had a uti back around late May (it is now early July) they told me there was no blood in my urine but leukocytes so they gave me a macrobid prescription for it. I took it for the 5 days like I was suppose too, it was really harsh on my stomach, but I did finish the medication. Then I got my period and it was a normal 7 day period. But after it ended the burning urination and pelvic pain of a uti came back so I went back to the doctor and they told me it was nothing in June and just to drink a lot of water. So the burning urination continued for another month and I went to my OB GYN and they also told me they didn't see anything wrong and now I am currently waiting for results on a pelvic x ray to see if I have a ovarian cysts or not. I am also not pregnant either.
I really don't mean to be a bother I'm just very frustrated on why I still don't feel any better and a little scared it's something serious.
thank you so much for responses

Sorry you're experiencing this condition, LKhodunov. It's best to follow up with your Primary Caregiver.

TOS states, "14.You agree NOT to seek or offer medical or legal advice"

    The best to you.

As mentioned we request that members do not ask for medical advice. Also, it is always best to discuss with actual PCP or specialist and not rely on information obtained just online as peoples symtoms will vary and can cover multiple subjects.
