NCLEX Question

Hello All,

Is it possible to take the NCLEX exam before I graduate NS? I heard from a former student that some of the people in her class took the boards before they graduated (and also had a job lined up), so that could start working immediately upon graduation.

If it is possible to do so, how realistic is it that I will pass on the first try?

Thank you so much for the information. I also under the impression that you could not take the Boards until all classes were completed, which is why I was surprised when she (the former student) said that her classmates took the NCLEX before graduation.

I am still in NS, but consider myself to be a good student. I have a 3.8 overall GPA and am entering my 3rd semester. Since I am funding my education solely by myself, I take my education VERY seriously. I try to study or take practice exams every day when time permits. I hope that my dedication to my studies will pay off in the end (ie. passing the Boards).
