Hopefully someone will post here and tell us how their experience and clinics went while working for Mollen. From arrival at the clinic, set up, paperwork, the immunizations themselves and the relationship with Mollen, and was the pay for the hours exactly as stated.

I'm also going with Mollen and same pay as most areas it appears at $22.00/hr. Stated the training is online on July 31 for approximately 2 hours time and you will be paid for that time after your first clinic day with your first pay and they pay weekly on Fridays. I chose the direct deposit as the other options may have a wait time for reciept. The info to fax is pretty general such as your license, ID, and W-4 info. Figure it's something easy for the moment and puts a few $'s to the bills.

I just got hired also with Mollen, sounds like easy enough money. I'm a new RN grad and can't seem to find a hospital job, so this is great for right now. 22hr here in Iowa. I talked to some hospitals in AZ and they are wanting experienced nurses and the ones that take new grads have the contracts with the schools and take them first. I guess this is as good as it gets for the time...

For those that got hired by Mollen, how long did it take you to get a callback from when you submitted your app? And did you have immunization experience?

I saw that their ad was on Careerbuilder so I am sure it didn't take much time at all for them to get all the apps they need... Has anyone been called very recently?

Those of you that got hired this season, please let the rest of us know how it goes and how you like it!! Thank you!

They called back within a few days from when I put my application in. They called went over my application and that was about it, very easy. They offered me the position on the phone then had me fax the paper work to them.

Im an LPN and submitted my application over the weekend and received a call back this morning. Ive filled out the paperwork and will be faxing it back shortly.

For those of you who have worked for this company before (specifically in the Glendale area--or elsewhere), where are the typical locations of these clinics. How many hours a week were you working? What were the hours of operation of the clinics? Any other helpful information you can give?

Thanks,
Felicia

The email I recieved this morning as all my paperwork is in was as follows if this helps:

"Mollen Immunization Clinics is the second largest and one of the most trusted providers of influenza (flu) immunizations in the United States. We conduct a network of seasonal clinics at drug stores, supermarkets, shopping centers, superstores, corporations, schools, governments (City, County, State & Federal) and a variety of community locations. We support thousands of clinics across the entire United States each year. Mollen Immunization Clinics has provided continuous service and experienced consistent growth over the two decades.

According to statistics from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), every year in the United States alone:

  • Up to 20% of the population will be stricken with the flu (Influenza) virus.
  • More than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu-related complications; and of these
  • Approximately 36,000 people die from influenza-related causes or complications
These statistics clearly demonstrate the importance of flu prevention to the overall health and wellness of our communities throughout the United States. In almost all cases, these tragic statistics could have been averted with a simple flu shot vaccine that in many cases can be conveniently and safely obtained with little or no out-of-pocket cost to many of our patients.

Very soon you will be on the front lines helping to prevent the spread of the flu this season. This is going to be an exciting year for us as we will have clinics in ALL 50 states. We will be releasing our Online Training Program the week of August 10th through the 16th. The Online Scheduling Tool will be available the week of August 17th through the 23rd. All of our HR paperwork must be received and validated prior to gaining access to the online training and scheduling tool.

If you know of a nurse who may be looking for extra part-time income, please send them to our website below to apply directly for these very important positions safeguarding our communities across the entire United States."
