I just spoke with Mollen. I applied on 7/14, they left a message 7/17. I returned the call today. I basically confirmed the information on the application and they said welcome to the team we are sending an email with information. I guess I just need to fill out the paper work and fax it back and they let me know about training.

Per Mollen's FAQ's that I received:
a. Yes, partial vials will be used first before opening a new vial to control inventory costs. These are multi-use vials. Think about the multi-access vials in the hospital. Whoever accesses the vial first labels it with the time and date accessed. Depending upon the vial, most are considered sterile for 30 days. Mollen takes precautions to manage the temperature and maintain sterility of all their vials (partial or full.)
b. Regarding staffing, although not optimal, factors beyond their control (such as calling in sick) may result in only one nurse running the clinic. As new grads, you're going to determine your comfort level with this situation. This would have been difficult for me when I was fresh out of school... Make sure you are comfortable with emergency procedures if someone decided to crash if you were there alone.
Hope this helps.

Joelle, did you call them today? I also got a call from them yesterday, but I missed it, so I was thinking of returning their call on Monday cause they e-mailed me and said that I could call them to speak to the recruiter (M-F). Thanks for the info.

I applied to Mollen Clinic as a part time job and they gave me a call within a day or two. They told me that I can schedule the time and location online. I can't wait to start

They called yesterday and I missed the call as well. The message didn't say call Mon-Fri. just to call at my next convenience. I wasn't sure if they would be there today but figured I'd try. They emailed my offer letter and other paper work today as well.

I only received a phone message yesterday no email

Are there any previous Mollen Flu Clinic nurses out there who have any tips/suggestions regarding scheduling? This has not yet begun, but I don't want to miss opportunities to schedule on line.

Any other tips for running the clinics? (I have done VNA Flu clinics about 9 years ago.)

Thanks

My friend who is a new grad just signed up with Mollen. She is excited and grateful for this opportunity even though its just seasonal. It will be the only source of income while she looks for a permanent position.

All I can say is thank God for Mollen, right now they are the only company in the COUNTRY hiring new grads.

Hi all,
I also am a new grad that just signed on with Mollen. I am beginning to worry some about the possibility of working alone.

Are any former employees familiar with the frequency of this occurring? Is there a way to tell, when selecting shifts, if you will be the only one there (I know callouts are possible, but would like avoid selecting shifts where I know I will be alone).
