Does anyone know if they hire new grads? I have been working in an allergy clinic for 5 plus years so I'm more than familiar with shots but I don't sit for the boards until next month....think they would still consider me?

Their website and/or ads state that new grads and retirees are welcome. When I worked for them many years ago it was my very first licensed nurse job.

Hi everyone,
I am registering to work with Mollen Immunization Clinics.
I have no experience in this area but willing to learn. I am looking for supportive working environment. How long does an orientation last?
I need a better understanding of an RN duties . What is the typical workday /assignment like?
How can vaccine be safely transported to off-site clinics?
Thank you so much for your help!

If its like last year:
1. Supportive work environment? Not so much. Its very independently run, but if you have questions you can try calling the main office; someone usually answers. Orientation is a couple hours and apparently is online this year. They tell you who not to give the shots too, explain the attrition form, and harp on the insurance issue. The insruance is the biggest problem because it seems to change daily as to which ones they accept.
2. typical day is to show up 30 mins before the shift starts, set up the table/vaccines/forms. give shots for the allotted amount of time to people as they show up. then tear down and clean up in the last half hour.
3. you don't transport the vaccine. all supplies are delivered before you get there.

What RN needs to do with unused vaccines, any fees collected for these vaccinations and completed forms? Bring it to the local office after your shift? Thank you.

Hi, could somebody tell me how their telephone interview works? Like do they ask specific questions regarding vaccines, etc. I am a new grad with no experience, and I would be interviewing with them on Monday. Thanks.

And I am hestitant about using parital vials... can anyone give me more info about their experiences with Mollen?
I have the exact same reservations shotsRfuN Hopefully some the experienced nurses can give some insight about partial vials. I certainly would not want to work my first few clinics alone
