Re: Mollen Immunization Clinic
I also just signed on yesterday... (7/8/09) There apparently is a 2 hour training coming. I have done "Flu Shot clinics" with VNA several years ago and enjoyed it. I like the independence. I'm going on "trust" that I will be busy, but fortunately I'm an old RN (30 years), so do not have the salary requirements of many new grads. (But the money would be very helpful... Michigan does NOT have a nursing shortage...) As a new grad, I'm not sure I would have had the confidence to work independently as required in this job.
Can someone tell me a bit more about scheduling?
When I interviewed yesterday, I was told that Mollen had gotten the contract for all the WalMarts nationwide. The website talks about RiteAid. Where else have others of you run clinics in the past? Other businesses, stores, etc? HR also said that last year they were in 8 states, and this year they are in all 50 (probably the WalMart contract.) I'm looking forward to this position.
