Medication Aide Research

I'm writing a letter to my state representatives and congressmen about upcoming legislation regarding medication aides. Can anyone tell me where I might find some research or articles about outcomes related to using med. aides?

What exacty are you wanting to research? Pro or con? Just need to know in order to better assist you.

Sorry, I guess I didn't think that anyone could be pro on this issue. Guess that was narrow-minded of me. I'm opposed to this idea. Not that aides are not skilled, but I don't believe that a 24-48 hour training class can truly prepare a person for the potential effects of medication error.

So I guess the short answer is: con.
