Medication Aide Research

  1. I'm writing a letter to my state representatives and congressmen about upcoming legislation regarding medication aides. Can anyone tell me where I might find some research or articles about outcomes related to using med. aides?
    Thanks,
    Kim

    Hello, gambitlizard,

Sorry, I guess I didn't think that anyone could be pro on this issue. Guess that was narrow-minded of me. I'm opposed to this idea. Not that aides are not skilled, but I don't believe that a 24-48 hour training class can truly prepare a person for the potential effects of medication error.
So I guess the short answer is: con.
    Thanks again,
    Kim
