There is a book called "Spanish for Healthcare Professionals". I understand it's very good. Good Luck.

Sorry, but it is against the TOS of this site to post in anything other than English...........Many of the moderators here do not speak other all of the other languages that could be posted, so we ask that all postings be done 100% English for everyones protection...............and so that we can safely moderate all posts..(and I do speak Spanish)

Let me translate that for you

Good Morta and SmilingBluEyes!! How are you? My wife (esposa) husband (esposo) is Mexican; My Spanish is very little (poquito).

Very well just remember that words ending in "a" are feminine and "o" are masculine. Other than that you seem to write it and speak it fairly well.

While I do agree that we should try to use English for the moderator to be able to view it, I also think that it might be beneficial if we can have a thread that deals with the issue of bilingual nursing. I work in Florida and we are seeing a larger usage of spanish needed. Maybe one of the moderators (wink, wink, Smilingblueyes) can oversee it.

with the hispanic population growing everywhere in the united states, communicating with them has become an issue. it would be very benificial for us!!
