Master's programs

I posted this in the student section but am hoping to get better responses here.

I am considering attending a master's entry program for people who have a degree in a different field. You spend the first half getting the RN and then the second half getting the masters. One option for the masters program is to be eligible for an NP, the other is in admin. (which I don't want).

Anyway, I'd like to hear from anyone who has completed one of these kinds of programs about how you liked it and how prepared you felt when you finished.

I know there is a lot of debate about education and so forth in the nursing field and I am hoping to avoid that here. I'd really just like to hear from those whose experience could help me. Thank you so much.

I have taught in an accelerated BS/MS program and find the students to be highly motivated. I also find that there is a level of confidence that is missing in other programs. These students function well in the clinical environment, learn to think critically easily and problem solve exceptionally well. I certainly applaud this innovative educational program.
