i have been very fortunate to not have had difficulties with being discriminated against as a male. i have, though, seen people who resent having males in the profession, and go out of their way to make life difficult for them. i think some of it is the feeling that men have all the advantages, now we are taking over a "female" job. i have also seen men who feel like they don't have to work as hard because they are the "superior" sex. they definatly make it harder on those of us who are actually working. good luck. i hope things get better.

I think that is nuts. We have more male nurses on my shift them female nurses. I like to work with men. We could always use a set of bigger muscles to help us move some of our patients. Thank you to all you male nurses that are willing to help us out.
