Jun 25, '11I tell so many people about this site it wouldn't be hard for my classmates to figure me out. Especially when I have vented specifics about a few of them. Which I was fully aware they might realize it was them.

Jun 26, '11Psht, only post i made about someone else that may be figured out who it is, is a classmate from a year ago. And i use my first name so it would be easy to figure out, seeing as though Jenni isn't very common (unlike Jenny). But i could care less, it's a hot topic to talk about concerning her anyway

Jun 26, '11to all you folks who use your first name (or other easily identifying characteristics) in your username...i'm curious- are you ever worried that being identifyable on AN is going to bite you in the butt? i'm stilly only a student nurse but i'm so afraid i'd slip up and say ONE little thing that might offend ONE little classmate or instructor or supervisor and BOOM all of a sudden my dreams of nursing (at least in the area i live in?) are DONE.
are you guys ever tempted to change your screen name? two things i've learned about people: you never know what little minor thing might offend someone and you never know who's going to end up being an exaggerating tattle tale... -
Jun 26, '11No. i never state where i am from, where i work, or where i went to school. my profile says in from Minnesota but thats cause i was born and raised in Minnesota. So now we have it narrowed down to 49 states that i could be from. I'm pretty sure there are many other Jenni's in those 49 states that work as a nurse.
now if i had a very very unique name, i wouldn't. -
Jun 27, '11Quote from RN in trainingThankfully, I have had nothing to vent or complain about yet (I'm lucky, I know), but I think in the near future I will be changing my username to make myself more anonymous. You never know who may be reading, and what I think may be a minor vent could come back in bite me in the a** one day. You know the sayings...It's better to be safe than sorry, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, etc.to all you folks who use your first name (or other easily identifying characteristics) in your username...i'm curious- are you ever worried that being identifyable on AN is going to bite you in the butt? i'm stilly only a student nurse but i'm so afraid i'd slip up and say ONE little thing that might offend ONE little classmate or instructor or supervisor and BOOM all of a sudden my dreams of nursing (at least in the area i live in?) are DONE.
