IS IT HARD RETURNING TO NURSING?

  1. I AM AN LPN LICENSED IN PENNSYLVANNIA, BUT HAVE BEEN WORKING IN MY FAMILIES BUSINESS. I AM NOW THINKING OF GETTING BACK IN TO THE NURSING FIELD. I HAVE NOT WORKED IN THE FIELD IN 3 YEARS AND I AM WONDERING HOW HARD IT WILL BE TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING I SHOULD STUDY UP ON BEFORE THIS MOVE. I HAVE ALSO THOUGHT ABOUT DOING SOME CNA WORK FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS BEFORE JUMPING INTO IT WHOLE HEARTEDLY. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY HELPFUL. PLEASE HELP

I have returned after 8 years of raising a family. Best thing I have done. I took a review of medication course. Worked 3 months as a PSW I think that is equal to a CNA in the US. Now I am RPN full time !!
