I have a interview for a Rn office nursing position at a urgent care center. I am a new grad and was surprised that they actually called me. Any advice: what type of questions they may ask? what I need to know about office nursing? do I have a chance as a new grad? any opinion on office nursing would greatly be appreciated! Thank you for your time

I do not know much about office nursing, but I do know that confidence and knowing about your strengths and how you handle difficult situations is helpful. Also, although your interview is tmw, if you can practice some, you cannot do them all, questions until you feel tired of practicing helps as well. Good luck:yeah ::yeah:

I would go over the website of the hosptital you are interviewing at. Know how many beds and know WHY you chose to interview there, they will prob ask you why. Also write down a lot of questions you have for the nurse manager.

The NM will ask you about previous clinicals; probably an experience you had where you went above and beyond for a patient maybe? or they like to ask dumb questions like, "an awe moment you had" while in clinical. Dumb stuff like that, lol!

They will def ask you your strengths (list a handful) and weakness (list 1 ) .

I have worked at a physicians' office & I suggest to make it clear that you are willing to learn, able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and above all get along well with your peers...Most anyone can be trained for that type of position, but not everyone is able to work well together with a teamwork attitude...Very important! Good luck to you:)
