I originally posted this on the NICU forum however no one has answered me there and I am hoping to have more luck here. I have interviews scheduled for next week in three different units at one hospital. I am really hoping to get a job in the NICU there and I am hoping people can give me some advice on what to expect at the interview as far as questions I will be asked and what kinds of questions I should ask as well. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Kalico, I recently went through exactly this very same thing! I rec'd a lot of help from our very own "General Nursing Forum" "Career advice". I also did a search and found a lot of other help. Awesome!! Like I said I greatly appreciate any and all help I can get on this matter! I am really hoping to not "bumble" my way through my first interview that really counts. I have wanted to be a NICU nurse since I was seven and I am finally getting to the point where I can actually "see" that happening!

Kalico, I just discovered something I didn't know...Go towards the bottom of the page and click on the upper rt hand corner where it says "similar threads" It showed other threads on this topic! Try that!:)

i have been compiling a list of interview questions. here is a list of what most employers are looking for in the people they hire. i posted this on another thread earlier today, but i added some questions at the end since you are looking for ideas of questions for you to ask your interviewer.

the positive attributes that most employers are looking for in a worker are:

I am not interviewing in Chicago, although at one point I was thinking about it. I am interviewing in Charlotte, NC.
