i said before that i would have to quit because of the sue thing. i guess that i could move to a poorer country and continue to do what i love and would be able to give the people better care with the extra cash!!

I would become a full-time student of everything, not just nursing. I would have more Master's and PHDs than anyone! Probably not an MD, though, since I would never work as one. I would love to study really useless stuff like mythology or ancient history. I would maybe do some part time or PRN stuff in an area that intersts me, who knows!

You stand a greater chance of getting killed in an auto accident than winning the lottery.

I would open a free clinic for pt with no insurence. Given some to the church, a little to family, buy a house in the city and a farm in the middle of nowhere( So I could have the best of both worlds), pay off debt, buy a house and travel.

Hmmm, let's see..yeah I would finish out the year....take the time to get my finance in order...pay off a few debts....invest as much as I could the first year...and once I could afford to live off the passive income of my investments....What job? :biere:
Hmmm! but say you DID win the lottery......would you do the same but in a different country, to experience all that life has to give????????

If the winning amount were a couple of million say around 3-5 or greater I'd quit as fast as I could. Would give 2 wks notice but then not follow through on it and leave that instance. I'd take my license and put it in a frame and I'd sit in my recliner and point to it and tell my kids/friends that I was once a lowlly finacially challenged nurse who had to put up with way too much crap/abuse from simple minded people who intern had more control over my career than I did. No longer would I have to litsen to childish sly comments from egotistical doc's, take idle threats and name calling from meager blood suckin pt's or threats of career ending intimidation from "can't see beyond the bottom line bean counter" administrative types. And I'd occasionaly drive up to the hospital in my limo with hot tub and a few hooter girls and laugh at the peasent nurses going to work haaaaaaaa.....
