If you could go back, what would you change??

  1. All RNs and LPNs:

If you had to start all over, knowing what you know about nursing now, would you go back to school for nursing?? If not, what do you think you would be more interested in instead?

    Thanks everyone!! :spin:

I would have gotten my BSN when I was 21 instead of 48.

My high school offered an LPN program, so I could have taken that and been an LPN at 17 and then become an RN at 19 or RN BSN at 21. Oh well, just a few years off.

I would have done nursing school back in my early 20's, not my late 30's!!!

Same. Plus I would have joined the USPHS and been retired by now...

I also would have started nursing about a decade earlier than I did. I wasted so much time....

I'm with Tweety. BSN earlier on. Although I think I appreciated it more getting it when I was older

I have no regrets becoming the nurse at 44

I plan on retiring when I'm 92 to make up for it!
