I cried for two solid days after my NCLEX. I didn't sleep. I even tried getting online to schedule another exam (it wouldn't let me). I did pass though, and I've been an RN for almost 2 years now. Try to stay positive, I know that is easier said than done because I've been there!

Honey, I don't know of one single person who honestly believed that they passed after taking the NCLEX, no matter how many questions they got. calm down and wait for your results. You might be surprised! Good luck!

Hey,

I so can relate to how you feel, I took boards on Sept 3 and passed. I remember leaving the testing center and thinking "what have I done". I thought I had failed. I knew that I had studied alot and thought that I had prepared for this. But I just tried to keep myself busy for a few days until I found out the results. Take some time for yourself and do some things that you had to give up while in nursing school. And BREATHE!!! I learned that the hard way.

Good luck and keep us posted with your results.

Everyone (almost) feels like they failed when they take the NCLEX. How long do you have to wait for your results? We were lucky enough to only have to wait a day. But all these people are right, go do something clear your mind and just wait for your results. You probably did better than you think! Let us know!

Have you tried the Pearson Vue trick? It worked for the people in our program and gave several of us peace of mind until our results arrive, while it gave others the opportunity to prepare for the inevitable. You can find information about how to do it on allnurses. Good luck to you!

Just passed Sept. 24th! The trick absolutely made the two days until results livable.

With something like 75 or 85 questions you either did REALLY well or REALLY poorly...
I sat for 5 1/2 hours and took all 265 questions...talk about not knowing.. but I passed and so will you(s)

Oh I know another trick. Our nursing board has an online site to check license info. I went on there the next day and I had a number so I knew that I had passed. If your state has an online site you can try that!

You most likely passed...what was your last question? if your last question was a knowledge question then you probably failed. If its a higher level question you most likely passed. (well that is what I was told by my kaplan teacher. She predicted that I passed from my last 2 questions). I bet you did fine though just keep yourself busy!!!
