How to apply to Johns hopkins hospital maryland

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hello my fellow nurses God day . I hope you can help me with my journey as a newly Licensed nurse.

My background:

Im a foreign graduate nurse (BSN program), I graduated year 2011 and got registered in my home country at the year 2012. We came here in Hawaii and I just passed NCLEx feb 17,2016. so technically, Im not a fresh graduate just a fresh RN here in US. My husband and I are going to move to Maryland on March 2016 and I really wanted to apply for a job at Hopkins . I understand that I still need to endorse my license to maryland board of nursing and Im planning to do it once we're already in there.

My silly problem is Im confused on how to start my application to JHUH. I went to their site and search nursing jobs and got a few in there. I believe the nurse clinician 1 was for the new entry nurses like me ? I dont know . :) I also noticed that there are different names on units? like nelson 6, nelson 7 ? It does not really matter to me where they would put me as long as I can get an RN position. Do I have to apply in each of those units? sample: I wanted to apply for nelson 6? then I will submit all my requirements to that unit? but can I also apply for nelson 7? and submit another requirements?

IM SO SORRY IF this all sound stupid and silly . this is my first nursing job and is new to all of this application process.

I would greatly appreciate all your responses . Thank you and God bless .

P.S : It would also be great if you can share tips or numbers to call to like someone in their recruitment that can explain to me the process. I just want this job . To experience working at JHUH will be a great experience for me .

Hello! I realize that your thread is several months old. If you are still interested...

If you have less than a year of experience, apply to Clinician I positions. The recruitment team will follow- up with you from there, if they are interested.
