We've been married almost 28 years now! Yikes! We are opposite in some things (such as our music tastes) but in the important things we are in agreement. Besides, if we agreed on everything, it would be so boring!

I almost married a man that was my complete opposite...but we came to our senses.

My husband and I are two peas in a pod. We both have the same goofy sense of humor; like the same music, movies, ect.; both love online games; both love animals; both in the healthcare feild; graduated from the same small town school (just ten years apart).

Biggest differences is that we are both creative, just in different ways. I do photography, scrapbooking, and some music. He loves to write (I refuse to read any because I'm scared if it is not good, then I won't be able to lie well enough) and to paint. He is also far more laid back then I am.

if it wasn't for these women and men being away from their home and families bringing products to our local stores for us to buy there would be no LAND OF THE FREE. What would you do if all truckers went on strike and you couldnt get fresh items from your local markets, gas for car, clothes, shoes, medical supplies?
We used to have freight trains haul everything. However, the trucks are handier, because they deliver door to door. I used to prefer the trains though. They kept the commercial traffic down.

He can't cook, but I can. I leave a mess in the kitchen and he cleans it up (a nice arrangement since I do the cooking, and he gets to eat it. )

We both aren't handy around the house and have to pay people to do the hard stuff.
    Perfect Tweety.

We are very much alike, but still different in some ways. We both like the same things- travel, cooking/trying new restaurants and foods, beaches (both grew up in FL) and all things beach related, we want the same things in life, share the same sense of humor etc.

He is an exec, but when I met him was an overnight security guard at a downtown hotel just out of the military and figuring out what to do next. I was an assistant for the engineering dept at the same hotel- handling the budgets, accounting for the dept, purchasing etc. Now I'm going to be a nurse in a couple more months.

He likes cars, motorcycles, boats, Formula 1 racing, motorcycle racing. I've grown to enjoy F1 and have always liked boats. And most of my interests he likes too.

We sometimes see things differently, he is more critical and judgmental than I am. I'm less critical, more forgiving (to a fault). I am a planner, he is not. I am more emotional, he isn't unless he is mad/annoyed. We are both impatient, but with different things. Our parenting styles are different, but we've come to a more middle ground. We've both struggled with finding balance between work and personal life, but in opposite ways. He was always work 1st, family second, and I was the opposite. Now we are at a more middle ground with that also.

    It works for us!

I'm almost finished with LVN school, love to read (Vonnegut, history, etc), collect antique photographs and medical paraphernalia, and Catholic.

My husband is a computer programmer, agnostic, reads books on natural history, and likes documentaries.

We're both unconventional and willing to try new things / see the other's viewpoint for a while, which I think helps.

It does get interesting when he comes to bed at 0430 after a night of intense programming... right when I'm getting up to drive to clinical
