How much of a raise did you get this year? - Page 5
Register Today!- May 1, '12 by pinkfluffybunnyI got a 1.50 raise which doesnt happen a lot in home health care. I think it was due more to my willingness to work wherever and whenever. I happen to love the company I work for and they have been good to me so that goes along way in pushing me to jump in and help where I can. It's to bad that mangers/CEOs weren't taught in business school that often pay is directly related to how peoples perceive their worth to an employer.

- May 1, '12 by angelalalaQuote from PinkmeganThe USA is a big, big country with varying economic demographics soooooo. . .that's a hard question to answer. What is the hourly rate for RNs in the USA??
- May 1, '12 by SadunlapYou are right.... 7 % is incredible especially these days in this economy!!! We are unionized out here in WA state and felt great to get 2 percent at our contract negotiations 3 years ago.. the company was pushing for pay cuts. It is a bit of a pickle isnt it? Medicare cutting reimbursement.... companies losing money or barely breaking even ... cost of living ever on the increase... little or no movement of salaries to offset the rise in cost of living... it will be interesting to see what happens at this years contract negotiations.

- May 1, '12 by imintroubleI'd forego the raise for the next 4 years if they'd just not cut two days a pay period for "low census". "Low census" is when they make 3 nurses do the work 4 used to do.
- May 1, '12 by WarEagle4Life2% raise! Got a bonus based on performance of each individual unit, $750.
- May 1, '12 by RFarleyRNI have been a school nurse for 3 years and never gotten a raise. None for the teachers or paras here either. I did hear the top administrators on the district received one last year, but not sure it is true. I don't want to think it is.
- May 1, '12 by GitanoRNi'm glad to announce that after long negotiation with administration at the facility where i work our nurses will be getting a substantial raise this year
