I work Mon - Fri and all the staff nurses take turns taking "call" for the weekend. We get two hours of overtime pay, and overtime for any hours we work if we do get called in for an emergency.

My question is to all nurses who take call, how much do you make on call? Is the pay I'm making sound right?

$2.25 per hour on-call, plus time and 1/2 if called in (while working) with a minimum of 2 hours guaranteed OT pay when called in. Example, if I am only here an hour, they will give me another hour to make the minimum guaranteed call-back time.
