How far is your commute and how offten do you work? - Page 5

I work about 20 minutes from my home. I don't have to take any freeways. I cannot complain. Same goes for my school, about 20 minutes away. When I got my LPN I drove to the next city over and it took me about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic....still not bad.

I hate to drive period. I only have to drive 20 minutes to work now. Driving does not relax me. It stresses me out. I do admire those nurses though who can tolerate a long drive.

I don't know how people make that long drive daily, especially if you work an 8 or 12 hour shift and then don't even leave on time probably so then if you add an hour drive each way to that then you're gone all day and have no time for your home life. More power to those that do though. We do what we have to and some may have no choice.
