What do you look for when assessing a postpartal mother? Signs of infection?

How does a C section heal up normally?

Any info please!!

Hey now, what is a C/S? It's surgery.

This is quite obvious. What do you know about the surgery? What do you know about the type/specific locale of a C/S incision? All this is easily found if you should choose to study your OB/GYN rotation material with half your brain tied behind your back!!

OP, this is where you should be using your critical thinking. Review your notes and texts. Your clinical instructor may ask you these types of questions to help you think critically and you will not be able to have your allnurses friends answer them for you when he or she does.

Why don't you tell us how you think you'd assess a mom post-c/section? If you give us what you have already come up with, people around here are a lot more willing to help you fill in the blanks or tell you if you're on the right track. Someone just telling you the answer isn't going to help you learn to think like a nurse.
