Help! Will i even be able to find a job when i move to Denver?

My husband accepted a job in Denver, he's is out there now in the Littleton/Parker area. I plan on coming there sometime next Summer. I am so excited to be moving to Colorado and get out there and ski, and hike, fish, camp, and ride my mountain bike! We have 4 older children His/mine that will be coming too. But i have to admit that i am kind of nervous with the threads i have been reading about actually acuiring a position there as a nurse.

I am a cardiac nurse (telemetry/PCU) i have had almost 6 years experience and i do not have a BSN. Just been seeing a lot of negativity on finding a job there. Should i start applying before i go? Has anyone else out there have close to the qualifications i do and re located there with any luck? If so, how long did it take you? What would the approximate pay rate be for a nurse with my experience? I'd probably be working nights as well. Any information would be grand.

Thank you for responding!

How about Dialysis

Hmmm....I have never thought about dialysis. What made you mention that?

Denver is the headquarters of Davita

Well, i will look into that. Thank you for suggesting it. Do you think they would hire someone who has no experience in that field?

Six years is good experience. I would think if you start applying now and express a willingness/desire to earn your BSN you would be reasonably marketable.

Thank you for your repsonse. That made me feel better! :)
