GPN = ?

If GPN means graduate practical nurse and you are in the US, you can look up the list of approved nursing refresher courses on your BON website and contact the school(s) of your choice to find out what the admission requirements are.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Contact the BoN most states you lose GPN status once you fail the nclex. Many refresher courses are designed for licensed nurses and you may need a letter from the BoN allowing you to take a refresher course.

It's been 14 years since you graduated. The nclex has changed several times and so has nursing practice. Don't be surprised if a refresher course is insufficient and you are required to return and complete a practical nursing program again
