I cannot believe that someone pays $10,500 for a course, nearly graduates and cannot complete a sentence with proper spelling and punctuation. One does not expect to be taught brain surgery in such a program, but at least you should have been required to use the rudiments of english grammer. Were they not training you to write in patient's charts and communicate with other health care members? I agree--you were robbed!

10000 a year for some nursing schools is low. I know many charge 20 thou or more a year. I agree a few years ago tuition was lower, but times have changed. Some states tuition is very high. Not like California.

My accelerated BSN program is over 20 grand. Plus I have loans from my first degree that I never used. OUCH!!!! College is getting sooooo expensive.......

The good thing about living here in Oklahoma is that everything is cheap. At my CC our tuition just increased, we now pay $39/ credit hour. But even though I get pell grant to pay my for my classes I will end up graduating with a $25-30 student loan debt that I need for living expenses.

When *I* started USC it cost $13 a semester hour. If you went full time then a whole semester was no more than $200.
