Fork in the road LPN-RN

I feel stuck. I know that I at least want to get my BSN and then continue for my masters. I'm just having trouble choosing a program/ school to attend. I am currently at my local community college here in Connecticut. These are the prerequisites I have left to take, Math 137, Chem, A&P 1 and 2. I don't know if I should stay at my current school and wait till february to apply to the associates nursing program or apply to a 4-yr university now. I was looking into Beth Israel school of nursing LPN- RN program in New York, they offer an associates degree. Molloy college also offers a BSN LPN-RN program. Help! I'll take any advice. Pleases and Thank you :)

Hi. I'm a nurse in Michigan. I'm currently working on my BSN, but got my nursing license with an ADN. Where I'm at, the pay is the same regardless and it's been a good experience for me. Many places prefer that you go on to get you BSN eventually. Just to clarify, are you an LPN already? I personally would probably continue with my prerequisites at the community college. Those are probably courses you'll have to take for any RN program and it will be good to get them out of the way.

I applied for both the LPN to ADN and LPN to BSN program to increase my chances of getting is somewhere. I was fortunate to get accepted into both and did the ADN route first. The main reasons were because it was faster and cheaper plus I later worked as a RN at a much better rate than my LPN rate while getting my BSN.

Thank you! Yes I am a new LPN; I received my license this past december and am having some difficulty finding a job since everyone wants paid experience.

I think thats a great idea I will apply to the schools I'm interested in and see where I get in- then make my decision from there.
