Fallen RN/firefighter honored in BIG way...

  1. For those of you who expressed your sorrow at the death of Melinda Ohler in a previous thread, more than 2,000 people bade farewell to her Thursday. She is the San Francisco fire department's first woman to die in the line of duty.

    Ohler, 46, died Monday night at San Francisco General Hospital, five days after she suffered head injuries in a 10-foot fall from the rear seat of a fire engine that was responding to a call.
