CONSPIRACY...It does frequently occur in a field of witches... Especially when there are differences in sexuality from 3.9 to all zero in last clinical huh????

The orginal poster got failied out of the BSN program just two days before graduation..Here is her thread:

https://allnurses.com/forums/f8/can-teachers-fail-students-2-days-b-f-bsn-170965.html

I was following your thread..Just to note, I have been reading these boards a lot, and clincal instructors do fail a student during their last semester of nursing school..It happened to me like that when I was put on probation during my last semester of school but somehow I got by..Some instructors are not that cold because they know you got by this far...But some instructors are realy cold and they dont care how much time you spent in school..There was another posting here that a guy falied because of clinical during his last semester in a ADN program in May..It does happen..

Here is the situation... I've earned a BA psychology and decided to go into nursing I started an MN program at a college where I successfully finished all the courses and clinicals with a 3.9 with the exception of a critical care clinical rotation. One of the teachers decided that she wanted to fail me, convinced the faculty to take over my evaluator's position to fail me, and did just that. She gave me all zeros on account such as confidentiality even though she never claims that I breeched this.

This woman also came on to me before the evaluation, held my hand and said, " you can get a lot further if you're nicer to people. I told the dean and chair before my evaluation and they still aloud it to take place. The chair convinced the dean that despite the bias there were safety issues; however these were fabricated late in the appeal process and the worst issue was not responding to a vent alarm.

I went through the appeal process and the dean made a final decision that I could take 8mo in the BSN program free of tuition due to the obvious bias involved... I don't trust the faculty and I'm taking it to court and will get my money back $38,0000.

The problem is that I have can not even work as a nurses aide although I've been studying for 6 years total now. There should be a way to just retake that clinical yet the dean claims that there is not. I am depressed and can't find a way out.

I will go anywhere in the world that will quickly allow for me to become licensed...I deserve it.

The teacher that has done this is currently on leave coincidentally and no longer doing preceptorship...I don't know why.

Does anyone know of any programs...Pheonix doesn't accept you unless licensed already along with many others I've tried. Why is an RN an RN but programs are not compatible with each other.

I thought this poster was banned a few days ago for freaking out on forum and starting a zillion ranting threads in a matter of minutes????

I mean i can see if someone does good all through their program and then they get to semester 5 or 4 ,whatever the last one is in their program. If the clinical instructor does starts to feel that this person came far but should be farther at the point they are at now, and this person is making Little mistakes (ALOT) and this person isn't using critical thinking, things like that, then yes i think they should fail. i do not think just because a nursing student made it so far that they should just be automatically allowed to pass cause they made it that far. NO way. You gotta show that you are going to be a competent practitioner all the way through up to the very last minute of classes/clinical.

You are correct. I was following the other threads.

I disagree! This person spent a lot of money, for a BSN and the time involved. If there were any problems during the last 3 years it should have been brought up earlier so she can correct the problems..Not at the end, where there were two days left until graduation..It is not fair to the student like that..I know that clincal instructors are all different..Some are more strict and some are more laid back in grading..And some might be even biased in grading and failing students.

Yes. I just reported that :(

She is obviously distraught and overwhelmed. I think we all should be a little more patient and understanding here. She has invested a lot of time and money toward the pursuit of this degree. If you do a query for all her posts you will see that she was just looking for some kind of response and incite from soneone any where on the board. I believe that is the reason for the multiple posts.

I wish you the best in what ever happens lobeth.

C: you don't really want these posts to come much clearer. I had to wash my computer monitor -- before this poster was finally banned last week.

You missed, then, the posts the moderators deleted for name-calling, profane and abusive language, and otherwise derogatory, inflammatory messages. What's left are the ones that could be viewed safely.
