Dressing after needle aspiration of chest

What is the common practice out there regarding dressing to the chest after needle aspiration of pnuemothorax? Bandaid? Vaseline gauze? I practice in a NICU and have always used the vaseline gauze, but am seeing some practitioners using bandaids.

I worked in an ICU stepdown and I've seen both a bandaid and adaptic used. It's up to the doc. If there was no pneumothorax and the wound closed upon withdrawal of the needle adaptic isn't necessary, however, I would assess the patient often for subcutaneous emphysema.
