your boss says she needs to meet with you "face to face" next week about some "issues" that "need rectifying", but wont give you specifics?

Now Im going to obsess about this all weekend. Argggh.

I meet with her tomorrow. She said it was about issues she "didnt expect to come up."

Who knows what that means.

Worst case scenario? Ill get fired.

I guess Ill just hope for the best and prepare for the worst....what else can I do??? Ugh!

Completely unprofessional not to mention unkind. I see it as a way to make you fret and control you. I don't like it. You should make it clear in your meeting how you feel about how this was handled. You might be afraid but trust me in the end they respect you more when they know you will stand up for yourself.

Stay calm in the meeting and hear her out. Don't feel the need to respond immediately if you need to think things out. Let her know you need some time to collect your thoughts and data and request another meeting if need be in a day or two.
