Hi, I'm going to be graduating May 18th and will be starting June 9th. I will be working 645pm-715am. I have been following Weight watchers ever since January and I am so scared that working nights will mess with my progress. Does anyone work 12 hour shift nights and follow weight watchers? If so how do you do the program? How do you fit in your sleep and exercise if you workout 5-6 days a week. IS it possible to even do that?

I want to lose weight not gain weight and I am so afraid that working nights will do that to me.

Any tips and advice would be good.

Thank you

I work from midnight till 8am 2 nights a week. I have been doing WW since Feb. 27th. I just do my points a little differnt. Instead of starting my points over at midnight I start them at 3am. Anything I eat before 3 goes on the day before, anything after 3 I count as my breakfast for the next day.

My big problem right now is finding time to work out while working full time and going to college. I have lost 14lbs so far. I love WWs.

Hey Tonya~

I have been on WW since Jan. and have lost 30 pounds to date.

I work 12 hour shifts, and do my points midnight to midnight. Seems to work for me.

And for my exercise? I do that on my days off.

Good Luck! and stay away from the vending machines! :)

Ladies I have heard of others doing same thing with great success. When I go on program as I seem to do too frequently. I start my points at my evening meal and then carry over to next day for breakfast and lunch. I eat more points in evening than other two meals and if I have too much for dinner can eat less at breakfast and lunch whereas when I used to use points at beginning of day and have breakfast/lunch and then had too few points for dinner I would fail miserably..
