Did I see an Angel today?

  1. This afternoon five people were killed on a walking trail that I use everyday. I was about 1/4 a mile away. Usually I walk faster but at first it felt like there was lead in my shoes. I tried to ignore it and walk faster but then a beautiful blue bird landed in a tree over my head and fixed me with a stare. It was as big as a stork but blue. It was nothing like anything I had ever seen before so I stopped to look at it for about a minute. I then pressed on only to come up on the accident. If it was not for those two things the heavy feet and the blue bird I think I might have been involved in the accident.

One of the things in life that make you go hmmmm. Perhaps you did have some sort of divine intervention today. How will your tomorrows be different? I hope you have great tomorrow!

We live in an age that if you order a pizza delivered to your house and call 911 at the same time to report a life or death situation....my money is on the pizza arriving first! Learn to protect yourself, become a wolf among the sheep!

It was the strangest accident scene. The path on which the accident occured runs along side a road and help arrived in seconds. It was so quite. No sirens, no shouting, sorta like an episode of 911 with the sound turned off. Witnesses, police, medics all were thunderstruck because the victums were all dead.

That is all so strange! What kind of accident are we talking about-car? Who called for help?

What a horrible tragedy. I am so glad you were not involved. Yes, I believe in Angels and you very likely saw one. God has a wonderful way of being there when we need Him most and I think He was with you then.

Reply to haji, Western Pa has one of the finest EMS services in the world. Maybe some cites have better pizza services than EMS services but Pittsburgh and it's surrounding communites are FINE. You should have seen them yesterday, they were so geared up to save someone and there was no one to save. I felt bad for everyone.
