CRNA to NC region. Recommendations

I am currently in CRNA school in the midwest. My wife is from NC and we would ultimately like to get back there when I graduate. I love the mountains and she loves the beach so really we could wind up anywhere in that NC, Southern VA, or Northern SC region.

I was curious what type of experiences people have had as CRNAs in this region. Any recommendations of jobs or places to avoid? Any places or jobs that pay astronomically higher than the average?

What about anesthesia groups vs facilities? Anyone have any knowledge about the differences down there? There is also the American Anesthesiology national group down there. Some of the reviews I have read havent been that great about it. Does anyone else have any input?
