Left VS Right

I thought this was so cool!!

I can see her both ways. I just need to blink and look away for a sec and she will go from clockwise to counter-clockwise.

I have shown this to others and there are people that can only see her spinning one way. They can't get her to switch directions. One friend looked at it for over 20 minutes and couldn't do it.

Guess her brain is very dominant for that side.

I see her going clockwise only. Apparently, I'm right brained..my sister is here too and she sees her going counterclockwise but she's seen her change. I have not, although, I'm going to reclick on the link and try again.

Cool test!:yeah:

Update: after staring at it some more...I can get her to switch(weird effect) although I still saw her turn clockwise at first.

i see her turning clockwise,

however, when i start reading the content on the left, she starts spinning counter clockwise, but only while i'm reading. cool! my husband sees the same as well, when he is reading content she changes direction.

I sat here for a few minutes and can only see it going counter-clockwise. Interesting. I can't figure out this clockwise that you all are seeing! -lol-

That's really weird. I see her going clockwise and then she switches to counter clockwise. If you hadn't said that your friends only saw it going one way, I would have thought it was a trick, like it was programed to change directions.

What I want to know is, how does the visual process cause her to switch from her right to her left foot?

Based on the lists I should be VERY left brained.

Thanks!

very interesting observation! hmmm i wonder if it is because you using your peripheral vision and there are more rods or if it has to do with the visual processing center.

this is going to drive me crazy.

Okay...I'm dying here! LOL! My mom says she can see it going both ways. Apparently I can only use one side of my brain. -lol-

My mom explained it...I got it! I can go to bed in peace now. -lol- It bugs me when I can't understand things. Her leg she is standing on switches if you look close enough.

yes, i tried reading to see if she changed directions, after you pointed it out, and she did. but if i just stare at the dancer, when i blink she will sometimes change directions.

that is very cool! thanks for sharing! i am seeing her go around clockwise! i guess i use my right side of the brain more! :)

Initially I saw counter-clockwise. Then I looked at it for awhile and see her switch legs every 15 seconds so eventually I can predict each time she will switch legs.

I don't think this has anything to do with being left or right brained.

Not saying it isn't possible to be left or right brained though.

Just my best guess.

Let me know what you guys think.
