Completely online ASN degree that I found.

Ok I am a RN and now my husband wants to be one too. So while searching for a school I found an online school called "Must University" And it cost less than 6k to do and a year to complete. Is this too good to be true? Anybody heard this? Its accredited by Accreditation Organization (IAO). Not sure about this. Input anyone??

I would not spend my money on that. That looks scary with the big $399.99 a month thing like they're selling insurance. Excelsior is an online Nursing program, but you can't get into it unless you already have lots of clinical experience. This MUST thing. It looks doubious to me to say the least.

...or went more than halfway through an ADN nursing program including clinicals, is a paramedic, is a respiratory therapist, etc.

This is an absolute scam guys. Anytime you look at something that advertises the path of least resistance, you should run the other way. Even if this was not a scam, such a program could not produce a good entry level provider IMHO. You are lucky to roll out of a conventional nursing program with enough competence to function as an entry level provider, let alone something like this. Look at all the threads about new grads struggling to learn the ropes, and you really want to consider taking shortcuts? Path of least resistance = FAIL IMHO.

To the person talking about 12 week paramedic programs, I hope you are kidding. While they do exist, producing a competent entry level paramedic would be difficult if not impossible for some people in a 12 week time frame. In theory, you can cram the 1,000 hour or so recommendation (DOT NSC) into 12 weeks; however, to say this produces a good paramedic?

oh my goodness...number one even if you did attend this school the accreditation is not right ...meaning you would not be able to transfer your credits to a community college or university....second there is no mention whatsoever of the nursing school accreditation ....nln or the other i cant think at 1 am . i would run run run run....from this screaming the whole way..there is no way i am going to put all of what it takes for rn school and then not be able to use it..oh my goodness no.....

I think programs like these are around to push firefighters thru the system as quick as possible.
