I'm a new grad nurse going for an interview tomorrow for a RN position at a nursing home. The interview includes a medication exam. I was hoping to learn some of the most commonly prescribed medications in a nursing home setting so I know which meds to study! Thanks for any help you can give!

The ones that really come to mind are: metoprolol, digoxin, Tylenol ( all doses),Morphine, Vicodin, coumadin, Cymbalta, Seroquel, Xanex, Haldol, Zantac,Pepcid,Albuterol, insulins,Arasept etc.
But this is just a short list of the ones that I really remember.
