1. I was interested in becoming a CNA while I went to college. I am currently becoming an EMT. I would like to work in Emergency rooms or other hospital setting. Is this possible, or do most cna's work in retirement homes doing "care taker" jobs. Thanks Ryan Boise ID

I am currently in a cna course and although most work in nursing homes and home health care, hospitals also hire cna's to help care for patients. They do baths, oral care, ambulating, feeding, etc. I'm sure that you could find a position in emergengy care.
