A pilot "Hospital at Home" project in Boston. Do you think this is a safe and effective way to treat patients?

If candidates meet criteria as described and a caregiver is a available then yes.

This part is so true and made me chuckle:

"Of those who do enroll, the number one complaint is too many people knock on their door every day,'' she said."

This happens all of the time, some phenomen where people choose home versus SNF for rehab but then are unhappy with several therapists showing up and disrupting their routine despite the fact that they chose home care as an alternative to SNF discharge, but then think of it as a straight discharge home.
